AUSTRALIA'S MEMORIAL WALK. Manly head ,Sydney

The Australian Memorial Walk honors those who have served and supported the defense of Australia in peace or in war.  The paved pathway links five monuments erected to remember the major conflict periods in Australia’s history: Colonial, World War I, World War II, Post World War II, and Peace Keeping. (A special Lone Pine monument also stands along the pathway). Funding for the construction commenced with a grant from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs with the majority of funds being donated from the public and organizations whose contributions are recognized with an engraved paver containing words of their choosing.
